Focus |
Teaching science and using technology is a huge passion for me. Thanks to my preparation of a bachelor’s degree in science with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and psychology in addition to a master’s in technology education, I feel I provide a diverse background that assets students in classroom. Both my experience from both Tekonsha High School and working in Florida for those seven years have made a huge impact on my classroom's learning environment.

History |
Before coming to Cros-Lex, I spent four years, working at Tekonsha High School, in Tekonsha, Michigan, teaching 7th grade science, 8th grade science, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Physics. Before my employment at Tekonsha, I worked at Neptune Middle School, in Kissimmee, Florida, teaching integrated science to sixth graders from August 2007 to September 2010.
During college I was a substitute teacher in the Croswell-Lexington School District and an assistant laboratory technician at Saginaw Valley State University in the Biology Department. There I developed and crafted my skills and techniques from preparing biological laboratory experiments. |
